Getting a Temporary Canada Visa means that you will be visiting Canada for a short period of time, usually 6 months or less. The visit can be for different purposes such as for tourism, visiting friends or family, for business and so on. In some cases, the Canadian Embassy where you are applying will request an invitation letter to Canada from someone you know there.
Types of job postings External – Positions open to the general public. Internal – Positions open only to existing public service employees (and CAF members and Veterans who are eligible for Mobility).
There are 2 streams for which you may be eligible. You can apply for permanent residence under one of the following:
Stream A: In-Canada graduates
Stream B: Canadian work experience
This public policy will be in effect from June 1, 2021, to August 31, 2026.

If you’re outside Canada without a valid PR card, you need to apply for a permanent resident travel document (PRTD).
A PRTD is normally only valid for one single entry. You should apply for a new PR card as soon as you resume residence in Canada.

If your family or friends want to visit you in Canada for either your convocation or just a vacation, they will need to apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). This application can be completed at the Canadian Embassy, Consulate, Visa Office or High commission office closest to where they live (if they are from a country which requires a TRV to enter Canada).
